IoT project of the year 2022: meet our guest jury

In 2022, the IoT project of the year contest will, as before, bring together telematics service providers of all sizes engaged in different industries around the world to discover the best IoT projects. Applications are accepted until July 26, so take your time to choose a project to share and send it to my.wialon.com if you’re a Wialon partner, or fill in this form if you use another IoT platform.

In this edition, there’s a major change to the contest process, the project evaluation specifically. This time, the Wialon jury team will be expanded to incorporate six guest experts. Experienced and skilled professionals from the IoT and telematics field, they will definitely add to an accurate and comprehensive assessment of the submitted projects.

keith reisher

Keith Kreisher,
Founder and Executive Director, IoT M2M Council

Keith Kreisher is the Founder and Executive Director of the IoT M2M Council, the world’s largest community of professional IoT buyers, comprising 25,000 enterprise users, product designers, and app developers from around the world. Gurtam joined the IoT M2M Council in 2021 to contribute to the growth of the IoT globally.

Keith has spearheaded various IMC initiatives, including a template Request-for-Proposal program for sourcing IoT solutions, guidelines for technology applications, a software calculator that assesses readiness for IoT deployment. He also launched an online library of hundreds of IoT use-cases and white papers, and 9 separate push-content channels on IoT subjects, mostly geared towards vertical-market applications.

Over his career, Keith held senior management positions at the largest business information companies, including McGraw-Hill, Reed Elsevier, and Advanstar Communications.

Aleksandr Krupovic,
Chief of Operational Marketing, Teltonika Telematics

Aleksandr has been in the telematics hardware industry for over 12 years. He started his career as a technical support engineer, and later was the project manager for some of the most successful Teltonika telematics devices. During this time, he gained valuable knowledge about different market needs and ‌solutions to them. Aleksandr spoke at many industry-related conferences sharing his professional insights and allowing telematics service providers to grasp opportunities for business growth.

In his current role, Aleksandr uses his expertise to increase the global awareness of Teltonika products and solutions. Aleksandr’s team works with the market analysis and hardware innovations to bring the telematics future closer.

Manuel Mendoza Bravo,
International Sales Manager, Queclink Wireless Solutions

Manuel has been in the GPS tracking and IoT industry for over 8 years. First, he worked for Ruptela, opening markets in Latin America. Currently, he is developing the European Region for Queclink Wireless Solutions. Working with partners in various countries has given him exposure to numerous projects for diverse applications, including vehicle telematics, insurance, personal tracking, and asset tracking.

“From a hardware manufacturer's perspective, it is always exciting to see how partners use our products, especially in creative ways, to solve problems. It is particularly interesting when the tracking devices are used in solutions that are not vehicle-related, or when projects are implemented in very remote areas. As a jury member, I’d like to see firsthand which real-world problems our industry solves, and use ‌these insights to keep developing products in line with what the market requires.”

Milan Suletic,
International Sales Director, Xirgo Global l Sensata

All in all, Milan has been involved in IoT-related technologies for more than 17 years. For the last 12 years, he has been contributing to the global telematics community in his roles as an integrator, consultant, and custom software development product manager. This diverse experience ensured Milan’s solid proficiency and let him explore the telematics and IoT industry from different angles. Now, Milan leads the sales operations at Xirgo Global l Sensata.

Wandrille Lesueur,
Sales Manager, ELA Innovation

Wandrille joined the ELA Innovation team in the quality of Export Sales Manager for Europe at the beginning of 2020. In this role, he deals with IoT projects on a daily basis. He delivers a hardware foundation for the creativity of solution providers, offering the most suitable BLE and other tags and sensors from the ELA Innovation range.

Wandrille hopes to see and give his expert opinion of the contestants’ projects related to indoor asset tracking and cold chain management.

Alexei Zhurkevich,
Product Manager Fleet Services, Volvo Construction Equipment

Alexei has worked at different sales, marketing, and product management positions for the world’s leading OEMs, such as Caterpillar, John Deere, and Volvo Construction Equipment. His overall experience in the construction equipment industry is 14 years.

As Product Manager for Fleet Services, he now develops and commercializes the Volvo Construction Equipment portfolio of digital fleet services based on telematics data.
