QA Manual Engineer
We are seeking a proactive QA Engineer to join our team in Vilnius. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our department's projects, focusing primarily on client-side (frontend) testing with opportunities to work on server-side components.
You will collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Product Managers, and Developers to refine requirements and deliver bug-free solutions. If you are diligent, organized, and have a knack for finding edge cases in web applications, we want to meet you.
Responsibilities:
- Core Testing: Perform comprehensive testing of client-side components (primary focus) and server-side logic (as needed).
- Collaboration: Work alongside Business Analysts, Product Managers, and Developers to clarify requirements and plan testing strategies.
- Quality Assurance: Take ownership of product quality, identifying defects and ensuring a smooth user experience.
- Defect Management: Create, track, and manage tickets in Jira, ensuring clear and concise bug reports.
- Documentation: Write and maintain internal testing documentation.
- Support: Handle bug reports and requests from customer service with impartiality and speed.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a QA Engineer on production projects.
- Strong knowledge of web technologies (HTTP, AJAX, JSON) and client-server application principles.
- Proficiency with Browser DevTools for debugging and analyzing network requests.
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and various testing types/levels.
- Experience with bug-tracking systems, specifically Jira.
- High level of self-organization and the ability to work autonomously.
- English (B1+ / Upper Intermediate) is required.
Nice to Have:
- Experience testing APIs and backend systems (using Postman or similar).
- Ability to read code at the query/request level.
- Proficiency with TestRail.
- Basic understanding of automated testing principles (specifically in Java).
- Russian language skills (Intermediate).
