Frontend Developer (React)
You’ll work on a flexible, fast-evolving platform designed for modern fleets. Participate in shaping architecture decisions and contribute to the technology used across the broader Wialon ecosystem, trusted by over 2,700 partners in more than 160 countries.
Wialon Platform is a new cloud-native, no-code product in the Wialon suite. Built on a flespi backend with modular architecture, open APIs, and EU-focused compliance, it's now in the post-MVP stage and growing fast.
- Develop high-quality software, ensuring its functionality, maintainability, and scalability.
- Participate in designing and architecting software solutions.
- Write, maintain, and execute code and test scripts.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for software projects.
- Collaborate in defining requirements, estimating timelines, and resource allocation.
- Contribute to project planning across multiple timeframes, from weekly iterations to long-term goals.
- Strong proficiency in React and Redux; adept at solving business challenges with these technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of TypeScript (TS) and JavaScript (JS) with a solid understanding of ES6+ features.
- Familiarity with HTML5 and CSS3 standards.Experience in developing responsive and accessible web applications with attention to cross-browser compatibility.
- Proven experience in performance optimization techniques for both React applications and general web performance.
- Strong foundation in RESTful API design principles and experience in consuming and integrating REST APIs.
- Practical experience with Git and version control workflows, including branching, pull requests, and code review practices.
Nice-to-have requirements
- Experience in working with WebSocket or MQTT for real-time data exchange.
- Experience in testing frameworks and libraries (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright) for automated testing.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience in internationalization (i18n) and localization (l10n) best practices in front-end applications.
- Exposure to Design Systems and familiarity with component libraries (e.g., Material UI, Ant Design).
- Knowledge of web security principles and best practices (e.g., CSP, XSS prevention)
