Wialon Top 10 Africa 2022: catching one of the greatest growth opportunities of the century

On August 18, the Wialon Top Partners ceremony was held as part of the global Telematics Vilnius conference. We awarded the ten most successful regional partners who had connected the biggest number of vehicles over the past twelve months. The word regional is essential here: we are moving from a global ranking to regional ones. This is our way to highlight the uniqueness of each region, its distinct business climate, political and social features.

Wialon has partners from all over the African continent, including Kenia, Benin, Tanzania, South Africa, Egypt, and Morocco. Everyday they show that Africa is diverse, dynamic, and full of opportunities. It is called the cradle of humankind, but today it’s a young continent: the median age here is under 20. It makes Africa an eager adaptor and innovator in all things digital and mobile. Telematics service providers create a wide range of different Wialon-based projects here: fuel monitoring, motorcycle tracking, etc.

Our partners’ businesses in Africa are growing faster than those of their global peers. That’s why the region shows a 30% growth rate in the number of connected vehicles – one of the most impressive ones worldwide. And we expect the rate to be even higher next year.
