Webinar on Wialon API

We continue our series of webinars for software developers. Educational videos from the Wialon Hosting expert have already become popular among the specialists who create the Wialon-based solutions. If you have not watched any webinars yet, we recommend starting with a video on the authorization mechanism in Wialon. And last time, we shared an overview of the Wialon JS API. You can find a complete list of webinars in the playlist on our YouTube channel.

This time, we are going to talk about JS methods for data visualization. We are getting closer to the final result – creating a simple one-line web app. Our next step will be to learn how to fill the app with data and render it on a web page.

In the theoretical part of the webinar, we will take a look at the following methods:

  • the loadLibrary method for downloading necessary libraries;
  • the getItem and getItems methods for getting data about an element;
  • the remoteCall method for executing remote requests to the server;
  • the getDriver method for obtaining data about a driver.

In practice, we are going to study:

  • Driver Dashboard as an example of driver data visualization on a web page.

This webinar is intended for technical specialists and developers who have recently started working with the Wialon SDK. It will also be useful to other specialists as business analysts who set tasks for developers.
