We are welcoming the new year with the new format of communication. Once a month, our colleagues from the Boston office will release the Gurtam podcast – a real talk on the topics that are of interest to our community. See the details below.

Why do we do it?

While launching a podcast, we are aiming to create an interactive space to:

  • discuss and share the industry recent trends and news;
  • chat with the hardware manufacturers about their product updates;
  • invite the Gurtam partners to share their best-selling practices and experience;
  • interview the Gurtam top management about the company direction.

What to expect in the first episode?

The first episode is dedicated to telematics trends.

Thus, in the beginning, you’ll get a brief highlight of the global telematics trends in 2019, such as 4G сonnectivity evolution, a growing concern about data protection and security, mass adoption of video telematics, continued interest in fleet safety, growing smartphone solution share on a major market, etc.

Then, we’ll appeal to the US telematics market and talk about its last year’s trends that slightly differs from the global ones. Do you know that in 2019, the North America telematics market demonstrated a growing need in trailer tracking? Last year, the local telematics market switched from AOBRDs to ELD, and we will highlight this serious transformation along with other crucial phenomena.

By the end of the podcast, you will remember the Gurtam telematics trends in 2019 that combined the global and local ones. And for last, we have prepared our expert forecasts for 2020. So, we highly recommend listening to the episode up to the end, as we left saved the best for last.
