Gurtam took part in M2M Evolution, Miami 2013

Recently, one of the crucial events in the sphere of M2M (Machine-to-Machine) technologies – M2M Evolution Conference & Expo 2013, which was held from January 29 till February 1 in Miami, came to an end. This year Gurtam team also participated in this event alongside with leading wireless carriers, application providers, platform companies and device manufacturers from all over the world. Renowned experts in transportation, security and automobile manufacturing industry discussed further M2M development strategies for 2013, paid special attention to M2M applications within all vertical markets and, in particular, highlighted specific applications in transportation, energy and healthcare sectors.

During the conference our colleagues, Gurtam CEO Aliaksei Shchurko and Aliaksandr Kuushynau, Chief Marketing Officer, held fruitful negotiations with many different companies from North and South America. This year our specialists at Gurtam booth were working together with Ares Sun, Gurtam silver partner in Central America, it helped to set up active communication with Spanish-speaking audience that was huge at the conference this year. Jorge Valladares, Ares Sun CEO, shared his positive experience of using Wialon GPS tracking system and told about successful examples of Gurtam software implementation in various M2M business spheres.

Within the framework of the conference Gurtam managed to get acquainted with many American device manufacturers, who expressed great interest in integration with Wialon, as well as to meet those companies, which equipment have already been integrated, such as Xact and SkyWave. Our colleagues also had a chance to communicate and discuss the potential and prospects of working together with major American wireless carriers, such as AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Vodafone and Sprint, because in fact, today mobile operators become major players on the international M2M market.

After the end of the conference, Aliaksandr Kuushynau highlighted: «М2М Evolution, surely, is a very useful event that opened new development perspectives for us at modern fast growing M2M market. We had very fruitful talks with a whole variety of companies, expressing interest in Wialon solutions, and acquired new partners. During the four conference days we visited many seminars, got acquainted with many interesting people and listened to the reports of world famous professionals».
