Gurtam at Gitex Technology Week

Gitex Technology Week 2014 — the largest international IT and ICT business gateway to the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia region. This year the expo took place on October 12-16 in Dubai World Trade Centre.

Sure enough, Gurtam couldn't miss this great event and was pleased to visit the very heart of the Arab World. Denis Grebennikov, Head of Sales Department at Gurtam, shares his impressions: «When you hear Dubai, you automatically imagine a fairytale city with astonishing skyscrapers in the center of wild desert, manmade islands, reminding the pattern of an Oriental carpet, noble Arabic men in white and mysterious women in black. And you’ll never forget Burj Khalifa — the tallest building in the world. And, of cause, Gitex Technology Week is the largest and the most popular event, featuring latest IT technologies in the Eastern hemisphere. According to the size and the number of guests, the exhibition can easily compete with CeBIT, and it's still a question, whether the latter will be ahead».

Our colleagues — Denis Grebennikov, Aliaksandr Kuushynau, Volha Smirnova, Anisa Al-Sendy, Zahar Poletaev — showcased our product, conducted more than 100 successful meetings with prospective customers and current partners. After the expo they also ran a mini-conference for active Gurtam partners in the region.

GITEX 2014 brought a lot of new ideas, projects and business-models, as well as power and enthusiasm to bring them to life.
