Payroll Accountant

Responsibilities:
- Calculating salaries and salary-related payments, including bonuses, overtime earnings, sick pay, vacation allowances, and applicable taxes.
- Maintaining timesheets for company employees.
- Preparing tax and statistical reports (monthly, quarterly, and annual) for government agencies such as Sodra, VMI, and the Department of Statistics.
- Issuing payroll statements upon employee request.
- Maintaining employee files and issuing employment documents, including hiring, termination, changes in employee positions, salary adjustments, and updates to other employee information.
- Verifying business trip reports and related documents.
- Consulting employees on salary and tax-related issues.
- Entering banking operations into accounting software.
- Performing other tasks as assigned by the Chief Accountant.
Requirements:
- Over 2 years of professional experience as a Payroll Accountant or in a similar role.
- Higher education in Economics or Accounting.
- In-depth knowledge of Lithuanian accounting and salary-related tax legislation.
- Proficiency in English or Russian, both written and spoken.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting software.
Nice to have
- Experience working with Business Central accounting software.
- Experience collaborating with programmers and transitioning between different software systems.
Salary range 2700-3400 EUR gross, based on your experience and interview results
