What you will do

  • Core Testing: Perform comprehensive testing of client-side components (primary focus) and server-side logic (as needed).
  • Collaboration: Work alongside Business Analysts, Product Managers, and Developers to clarify requirements and plan testing strategies.
  • Quality Assurance: Take ownership of product quality, identifying defects and ensuring a smooth user experience.
  • Defect Management: Create, track, and manage tickets in Jira, ensuring clear and concise bug reports.
  • Documentation: Write and maintain internal testing documentation.
  • Support: Handle bug reports and requests from customer service with impartiality and speed.

 

What you’ll bring

  • 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer on production projects.
  • Strong knowledge of web technologies (HTTP, AJAX, JSON) and client-server application principles.
  • Proficiency with Browser DevTools for debugging and analyzing network requests.
  • Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and various testing types/levels.
  • Experience with bug-tracking systems, specifically Jira.
  • High level of self-organization and the ability to work autonomously.
  • English (B1+) is required.

 

Nice to have

  • Experience testing APIs and backend systems (using Postman or similar).
  • Ability to read code at the query/request level.
  • Proficiency with TestRail.
  • Basic understanding of automated testing principles (specifically in Java).
  • Russian language skills (B1).
