UX/UI Design Team Lead
What you will do
- Leading the UX/UI Design team for web and mobile products: building design processes, standards, and methodologies, as well as the team’s workflow (task pipeline, handoff to development, review, and approval)
- Team and people management: distributing tasks among designers based on priorities, deadlines, and workload; setting individual goals, conducting performance reviews, creating career development plans, and participating in hiring and onboarding new team members
- Leading UX/UI design for the development of the Wialon ecosystem: defining goals, planning, and developing concepts
- Collaborating closely with product and development teams to ensure feasibility within existing constraints, alignment with expectations, and effective design representation in cross-functional planning and prioritization
- Auditing and redesigning legacy UI, implementing design systems and modern design guidelines
- Leading regular design reviews, critiques, and ideation sessions for the team
- Conducting research and analyzing user flows and product metrics to improve usability and overall user experience
- Conducting competitor UX/UI analysis, brainstorming, and validating new ideas
- Independently working on key product-related tasks
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, including at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Proven expertise in designing B2B products across web and mobile platforms
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility standards
- Ability to effectively communicate design ideas and rationale and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing and incorporating feedback into design iterations
- Experience creating and managing design systems
- Experience using and integrating AI tools into design processes
- Proven track record of leading design projects from concept to delivery
- English B2
Nice to have
- Excellent attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional user interfaces
- Knowledge of front-end development processes and technologies
