QA Engineer (Wialon)

Responsibilities
- Testing of the client-side (primarily) and server-side (as needed) components of department projects.
- Collaboration with Business Analysts, Product Managers, and Developers on current tasks or plans.
- Quality assurance of products.
- Creation and management of tickets in Jira.
- Consultations on department projects and handling bug/error reports and requests.
- Writing internal documentation.
Requirements
- Experience as a QA engineer for at least 2 years on production projects.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Knowledge of types and levels of testing.
- Ability to work with browser dev tools and analyze the information obtained.
- Strong understanding of client-server application principles.
- Ability to create basic testing documentation.
- Knowledge of web technologies: HTTP, AJAX, JSON.
- Understanding of how to test APIs and backend systems.
- Knowledge of tools like Postman or similar systems for working with API requests.
- Experience with bug-tracking systems (JIRA).
- Excellent communication skills.
- High level of independence and self-organization.
- Excellent communication skills with spoken English and Russian.
Nice to haves
- Proficiency in using TestRail or similar test documentation tools.
- Understanding of automated testing principles and the ability to write automated tests in Java.
- Understanding of codebase and the ability to read code at the query/request level.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Basic understanding of CI/CD workflows. Familiarity with security testing concepts.
