Senior Python Developer
We're looking for a Senior Python Developer to join our team in Vilnius. This is a core backend engineering role where you'll own meaningful parts of a platform used by millions every day — from architecture decisions to production deployments.
We don't do "simple" here. You'll join a team that handles massive data flows and complex backend logic across 160+ countries. If you take pride in clean, scalable systems and want your code to actually move the world — this role is for you.
What You'll Do

Architecture & Development — Design and build high-quality, scalable software solutions powering real-world operations globally.

System Ownership — Take full ownership of your modules, from architectural decisions and estimation through to deployment and production monitoring.

Code Quality — Write, maintain, and execute code and test scripts with a focus on reliability and best practices.

Technical Documentation — Create and maintain clear documentation that keeps the team aligned.

Cross-Team Collaboration— Partner with your team to define requirements, estimate timelines, and shape planning — from weekly sprints to long-term roadmaps.
What You Bring
Required:
-
Strong knowledge of Python 3
-
Expertise in at least one async web framework — Aiohttp, FastAPI, or Tornado

Deep hands-on experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL), including query optimization

Solid understanding of RESTful principles and API design

Practical experience with Git workflows — branching, pull requests, code reviews

Analytical mindset for breaking down complex technical challenges

English — Upper-Intermediate or higher
Nice to Have:

Experience writing async code and unit tests

Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases and MQTT

Familiarity with big data, time-series, or statistical data processing

Understanding of web auth basics (cookies, JWT) and experience with OAuth, SAML, or LDAP

Initiative in technical discussions and cross-team communication
