Head of Tbilisi Office
Gurtam is looking for a Head of Tbilisi Office to lead and elevate our second-largest office — home to 40+ local and international IT talents.
In this role, you'll be the driving force behind a positive, productive workplace: keeping day-to-day office operations running smoothly and representing Gurtam's brand and Georgian business entity with professionalism. You'll also ensure local compliance — meeting Georgian legal and regulatory requirements while implementing HQ's functional decisions on the ground.
We're looking for a hands-on leader who isn't afraid to get involved in every aspect of the work they oversee and who will champion and promote a positive internal culture.
What you will do
PEOPLE & CULTURE
- Act as Local People & Culture Manager
- Plan and execute employee events of varying sizes and budgets
- Support the organization of HR-led events and activities
- Oversee employee benefits such as insurance, fitness programs, and meal services
OFFICE OPERATIONS & INFRASTRUCTURE
- Oversee daily office operations
- Maintain office infrastructure and manage relationships with service providers and landlords; ensure the office space is well-maintained, clean, and conducive to productivity
- Manage relationships with landlords and facilities-related service providers
PROCUREMENT & SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT
- Handle all purchases, supplier interactions, and contract management
- Suggest, order, and distribute custom merchandise and gifts for employees, manage inventory, and handle related accounting documentation
ADMINISTRATIVE & EMPLOYEE SUPPORT
- Provide local administrative support to other departments and functions
- Provide employment-related documents at staff request
- Prepare business trip documentation
MIGRATION & RELOCATION SUPPORT
- Manage labor migration documentation and residence permits for foreign employees
- Assist foreign employees in adapting to work and life in Georgia
LEGAL & BUSINESS ENTITY
- Act as the legal director of Gurtam LLC under Georgian law
- Represent Gurtam LLC with authorities and business associations
- Ensure labor and fire safety compliance and training
- Implement corporate standards and adapt procedures locally
Close collaboration is expected with the HR Department, Finance, Legal, Business Travel, Procurement, Tech Support and, occasionally other Teams.
What you will bring
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field (must be comfortable reading and reviewing legal documents)
- Georgian (native), English (upper-intermediate), Russian (upper-intermediate)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Highly organized, result- and detail-oriented
- Georgian residency required
- Full-time, on-site at the Tbilisi office (5 days/week), Mikheil Tamarashvili St, 13T
