Events & Community Specialist
At Gurtam, we build fleet management and IoT solutions used in 150+ countries. The product speaks for itself. Now we want the people, ideas, and expertise behind it to be just as visible.
You'll join our People & Culture team in Vilnius - a team that works across both internal and external people-related initiatives. It all connects, and we move better when everyone understands the whole picture and cares about what we're building together.
This is a hands-on role with real variety: you'll be out in the community, running events, working with internal experts, and managing our social media. You'll have room to shape these activities and real ownership of making them happen. If you enjoy bringing people together, telling good stories, and seeing an idea through to the last detail, this role might be for you.
What you'll be working on
-
Planning and running our events - meetups, community gatherings, and conferences; managing Gurtam's participation as a partner or organizer, from the first idea and budget to promotion
-
Launching and developing a community around Gurtam - shaping its focus together with the team, bringing in members and experts, finding useful topics, and creating regular opportunities for people to learn, share, and connect
-
Managing our people and community social media channels - planning content, writing and editing posts, briefing designers, publishing, and keeping the conversation going with our audience
-
Turning the expertise, experiences, and everyday moments inside Gurtam into stories people want to read - working with colleagues to find what's interesting and choosing the right way to share it
-
Building and developing an internal experts community - identifying potential speakers, helping them find their topics, and preparing them to represent Gurtam externally
-
Working with HR colleagues on candidate experience - making sure our communications, events, and community activities help attract the right people and give them a clear, honest picture of what it's like to work at Gurtam
What we're looking for
-
Experience organizing events from idea to delivery and follow-up - meetups, conferences, internal events, or other formats
-
Hands-on experience managing LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook - from content planning and publishing to coordinating visuals, engaging with the audience, and tracking results
-
Strong writing and editing skills - you can find a good story, adapt it to different channels, brief a designer, and tell whether the text and visuals work together
-
Experience working with experts, speakers, or communities - finding relevant people, agreeing on activities, helping contributors prepare, and keeping relationships active beyond a single event
-
Experience managing several activities at once - set priorities, adjust plans when things change, keep colleagues informed, and follow through on commitments
-
Practical experience using AI tools for research, planning, and content - you check facts, edit carefully, and take responsibility for the final result. Curiosity about AI and the tech world
-
Fluent English
Who you are
You're someone who follows through, shows up, and cares about whether something actually worked. You can see the bigger picture and still give the post, the speaker brief, or the event checklist the attention it needs.
You're comfortable with people, whether it's in a room full of engineers, in a conversation with a potential employee or alongside a colleague who's preparing for their first talk.
You bring warmth to your work. You know that a community grows through useful conversations, shared interests, and the small things that make people feel welcome and want to return.
You're collaborative. You make things happen, keep your colleagues in the loop, and enjoy being part of a team that cares about what it builds together.
If this sounds like the kind of work you'd enjoy, we'd love to hear from you. #gurtampeople
