Responsibilities:
- Managing and maintaining accounting and tax records of Gurtam LLC
- Managing the full accounting cycle of the company, including bank transactions and payroll.
- Month-end closing process
- Tax, accounting, and statistic reporting of Gurtam LLC
- Preparing external payroll and tax reports for the government
- Maintaining employees files and issuing employment documents (hiring, termination, change in employee position, salary rates, change of other employee’s information)
- Consulting employees on salary and tax issues
- Participation in the development of accounting related business processes and preparation of internal instructions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
- At least 4 years of experience as a Chief Accountant or in similar position
- Excellent knowledge of Georgian tax legislation
- Proven experience in preparing and filing all types of tax reports, declarations, and other mandatory financial documentation
- Proficiency in accounting software and office tools
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Strong attention to details and a high level of responsibility
- Spoken level of English
