Python Developer
We are looking for a Python Developer for an enterprise-grade IoT product with a strong emphasis on advanced analytics and forecasting capabilities. This role is central in shaping the future of our enterprise product in analyzing extensive datasets and executing low-latency processing for optimal performance.
Your responsibilities will span the entire software development lifecycle from planning to the hands-on implementation of robust, scalable and high-performance Python-based solutions.
Team: solutions architect, 2 product managers, 5 software engineers working full-time from the Vilnius office. The team members have an average of 9 years of experience in telematics.

- Design, develop, and implement brand new Python-based software solutions with a focus on low-latency and big data processing.
- Architect and optimize systems for real-time processing of large volumes of telematics data enabling in-depth analysis and forecasting capabilities for enterprise-level usage.
- Take part in planning at all level from weekly sprints to global initiatives.
- Conduct thorough code reviews, providing constructive feedback to maintain high code quality and adherence to standards.
Expectations from the successful candidate
- Senior level expertise of Python 3, demonstrating confidence in asynchronous programming approaches.
- Proven experience with Python web frameworks showcasing the ability to design and implement scalable web applications.
- Strong background in working with SQL databases to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Solid understanding of RESTful principles with experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs for seamless integration between different components of web applications.
- Hands-on experience with authorization flows supporting the ability to implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- For our internal processes, we also expect a conversational level of English and Russian.
