Some devices may have an additional power-saving mode that blocks applications in the background and, in that way, prevents them from operating correctly.

To disable optimization, do the following:

open the settings of the mobile device;
open the section related to the battery and performance;
select the item responsible for the battery consumption by the applications;
find WiaTag in the list;
remove the restrictions for background activity and allow the location determination in the background.
