  • 1 – Current state – When data must be sent (PTO status changed, by time interval)
  • 2 – Trip End – Engine turns off after vehicle movement
  • 3 – Engine Idle Stage End – The Engine is turned off with no Vehicle movement since last Engine On
  • 4 – Diagnostic report – Diagnostic code was reported by one of the JBus modules
  • 6 – Response on Host request – As response on request

For message #229

  • Report type 0: the tag state was changed
    o Report status = 1: the tag was connected to Piccolo Plus units
    o Report status = 0: the tag was disconnected from Piccolo Plus unit
  • Report type 1: Periodic connected tag report. State data is bit masked value. The Report
    Status value bits mean the following:
    o Bit 1 (mask 0x01) – the information is sent due to timeout expired
    o Bit 2 (mask 0x02) – the information is sent due to temperature changing
    o Bit 3 (mask 0x04) – the information is sent due to A2D value changing
    o Bit 4 (mask 0x08) – the information is sent due to Input changing
  • Report type 2: Current tag state sent on Host request
    o Status = 0: the tag is not connected
    o Status = 1: the tag is connected
  • Report type 3: the report includes the list of connected (active) tags,
    o Is sent as an answer on Host “Rescan active Tags” or “Get Active Tags list” message. When configured this report is sent when any available input state has changed.
    o Status field must be ignore

trip_state

Trip state:

  • 0 – Unknown – The vehicle state was not detected yet
  • 1 – Engine Off – The vehicle engine is off
  • 2 – Engine starter is On – The engine is starting
  • 3 – Engine On – Engine On (was successfully started), but did not move yet
  • 4 – On Route – Engine On, and vehicle was moved since last Engine On

ƒ 7 = information is not available

o Driver time related state (SPN 1617 and 1618) value means the following:
ƒ 0 = Normal ( no limits reached)
ƒ 1 = Limit #1- 15 min before 41⁄2 hours
ƒ 2 = Limit #2 - 41⁄2 hours reached
ƒ 3 = Limit #3 - 15 min before 9 hours
ƒ 4 = Limit #4 - 9 hours reached
ƒ 5 = Limit #5 - 15 min before 16 hours
ƒ 6 = Limit #6 - 16 hours reached
ƒ 14 = Error
ƒ 15 = information is not available
