Meitrack introduces its first 4G portable GPS tracker P99L. This palm-sized unit is predicted to be one of the most popular personal tracking devices amongst adventure seekers, lone workers such as miners, and construction workers.
The P99L is specially designed for hiking, camping, fishing trips, snowboarding, rock climbing, kayaking, and other outdoor activities. It has a rugged sturdy housing making it dustproof, shockproof, and durable. The P99L can withstand being submerged in water for up to 30 minutes in a 1-meter depth (IP67 rating). One of the best functions about the P99L is that it can pinpoint its location by using WiFi. This means that if a user is inside a building that blocks GPS signals, the unit will enable a nearby WiFi network to capture the location in real time.
The P99L also has another exciting feature in wireless and magnetic charging. It takes users about 2.5 hours to fully charge the battery, which the device can last up to 400 hours in standby mode and 50 hours in normal working mode. For those who want to keep smooth routes, the data interval can be set to one second (the shortest time interval) so that the device generates a piece of data every one second.
Once the unit is being used it will keep track of the owner all day long and provide instant data, such as the location, pace speed, and distance traveled. Also, authorized users can listen in to what is happening around the person. The P99L has an S.O.S. button to signal for help in case of an emergency. The location can be quickly found by accessing the GPS platform and to see last whereabouts. All journey information can be later viewed from Meitrack MS03 tracking system on a computer or smartphone.
