Wialon Mobile update: what’s on the agenda?

Once again, we have exciting news for you! Our Wialon mobile application is gaining popularity: the Android version is used by more than 5 thousand clients while about 2 thousand people enjoy the iOS app. This is definitely a reason to be happy! 

Also, we’d like to announce Wialon mobile client update. For now, new functions have been added both to the Android and iOS versions. 

Geofence Display

We’ve integrated geofences into mobile Client. They are displayed the same way as in Wialon Hosting Account. Please consider that you cannot switch off geogences’ names.

This feature is currently available only for Android users, but iOS update is on its way, too!

Ignition State

Ignition state is now displayed only when the sensor is on. It looks the following way: 

If the sensor is off, ignition state is not displayed.

New Type of Event: Fuel Filling

At users’ requests we’ve added a new type of event called Fuel filling. Thanks to the new Events module, Fuel Fillings are displayed in real time, so the numbers can slightly differ from those of the monitoring site. Pay attention! Fuel Fillings are shown separately for each sensor.

Unfinished Events

In the previous mobile client version, the last entry of the event list displayed in Unit mode was the latest finished event. We’ve updated this function, and now the current unfinished event is displayed instead, whether it is parking or a trip. You can update the event list by swipe; the current unit state is changed automatically. 

Google Traffic

We’ve studied your feedback on Gurtam forum and added Google Traffic service to Wialon mobile app panel. To activate the function, change the app settings. The service supports Google Maps only.

Units Filtration

One of mobile client new functions is Units filtration. While managing units in the list, you can see both active and inactive units. Active units come first, then the inactive ones are placed in the alphabetic order. There’s also an option to add or delete all the units in one click.

Traffic Improvement

We’ve optimized the app for users who manage a lot of units at the same time, and now Wialon mobile app will work faster. We appreciate your time and will do our best to improve the system.

New Languages Support

New Wialon mobile app version supports Turkish and French. Now our multi-lingual app is available in six languages, including English, German, Russian and Spanish.

Extra Features

We’ve also made units' captions on satellite map more readable with the help of a new stroke. Little things matter!
