The complete TelematiX agenda is out

Can you believe it’s already July? Everybody in the Gurtam community knows what is about to happen – the 10th anniversary Gurtam partner conference! This time, we are gathering partners from around the world. 

For you to understand the scale of the event, we did some stats: TelematiX is getting ready to receive 620 registered participants from 76 countries. In total, they will listen to 130 presentations and attend 16 workshops. It makes the event the biggest Gurtam partner conference ever!

No wonder you might get a bit confused with all these presentations, training sessions, discussions and whatnot. Stepping in to make your experience even more valuable!

Welcome to have a look at the full conference agenda, and in this article, we’re guiding you through the three exciting days and outlining the most prominent events that just can’t be skipped or missed. By the way, almost all of them are taking place at Minsk Marriott Hotel. 

Early networking opportunities

If you feel like meeting other participants before the event itself, we’ve prepared a special spreadsheet with detailed info on all the flights arriving in Minsk on July 27-30. Thus, you can find fellow travelers at the airport and get to the city together or explore Minsk and surroundings later. All you have to do is:

• Choose the sheet with the date of your arrival;

• Find your flight in the list;

• Enter your name and company;

• Look for the fellow travelers;

• Go to my.gurtam.com for their contact details and photos;

• Get in touch and decide on a meeting point.

Day 1, July 30

Training sessions

It is hard to imagine any Telematics event without training sessions which are immensely popular with Gurtam partners. When it comes to training, we can’t go with the flow. So, we prepared a set of training sessions that you can attend on the first conference day. 

Note that all training sessions are divided into three tracks by languages (English, Russian, and Spanish) and four sections (Business, Growth, Wialon, Tech). 

During Business training sessions you will discover all the pitfalls of Sales and Marketing, and learn how to avoid them. The Growth sessions will teach you how to effectively manage projects and automate business processes where possible. The Wialon and Tech sections will have you informed on such tricky system’s aspects as fuel control, Eco Driving or the service hierarchy.

We do recommend selecting the training sessions you want to visit beforehand. 

City Tour

At the end of the day, all the participants will get a fantastic opportunity to explore Minsk on board of a city tour double-decker. Learn the historical mysteries of the Belarusian capital with the assistance of the audio guide in Russian, Spanish, and English. And don’t forget to register for the tour in advance!

Day 2, July 31

Keynote presentations 

On the second conference day, we invite you to feel like home together with Gurtam and enjoy keynote presentations by the company experts. They will start in the morning, unveiling the results that Gurtam community achieved for the past year, sharing some new developments and exploring the telematics market trends. 

You will definitely learn some unexpected things from the year overview by Aliaksandr Kuushynau, Chief Wialon Officer, Gurtam, and you sure wouldn’t want to miss the Chief Gurtam Architect and Co-founder, Aliaksei Shchurko’s talk “New telematics market. Our vision and expectations of the future.”

The keynotes will be delivered in English with the option of simultaneous translation into Russian.

Panel discussions

In the afternoon, panel discussions start, in English and Russian (two panels in each language). Having chosen those in English, you’ll learn how to increase telematics service "stickiness" with Wialon. After that, get down to exploring the biggest competitive threats and opportunities in telematics globally in 2019 and beyond.

Workshops

Together with panel discussions, workshops begin. As they are organized in English, Russian, and Spanish, choose the topics according to your speaking language. 

This interactive format will let you discuss hot issues with industry leaders from other regions and share best practices in the sphere of Wialon implementation, technical support, marketing, staff hiring, etc. On July 31, a lot of workshops will be hosted simultaneously, so choose the one you like best after lunch, and also one after the coffee break. 

Day 3, August 1

Presentations

The third and final conference day will highlight Gurtam and community presentations, as well as panel discussions. All the talks are divided into Wialon, Business, and Growth sections and will be held either in English, Spanish, or Russian. 

Discover the current M2M connectivity trends with the experts from Spain, the US, Mexico, and Singapore, or investigate the real obstacles that prevent a good integrator from growing and the ways to overcome them. 

The topics vary from Gurtam Apps, partners’ Wialon-based solutions, Wialon implementation use cases to the video solutions in telematics and the latest hardware developments.

Gala Party

The culmination of the entire conference, Gala Party, starts at 6:30 p.m. Here we will honor the companies who made it to Wialon TOP 50 Global and GPS Hardware Manufacturers TOP 10 ratings. Prepare your fanciest suits and gowns, the heat’s coming!

Hackathon

This year, we have something interesting not only for CEOs and commercial managers but for developers too – the TelematiX Hackathon! It will bring together the masters of the code known for their Wialon-based solutions. They will accept the challenge trying to develop the solution for some real-life problems, upgrading their skills in the process and learning new things such as technologies and methods used at Gurtam. The working space will be available 24/7. 

As the problems for developers will be purely practical, feel free to drop by and watch them sweating over the solution. Besides, on August 1, at 12:30 p.m., you are welcome to witness the final presentations and the award ceremony. Although the registration for participants is already closed, and the hackathon teams are staffed, the event is open to all TelematiX visitors to enjoy watching.

Hardware Expo

This year, 32 hardware manufacturers from Europe, Russia, and Asia are ready to present their products and solutions in Minsk. The Expo zone will work for two full conference days. Find the devices for your projects here and get the unique networking experience. For the record, if you don’t feel like spending all the time listening to presentations and discussions, the Expo is a perfect place for you.
