Logistics 2.4: New Year update

Gurtam congratulates you on the coming New Year! Many project teams are preparing holiday updates and today is Logistics time. The news on this solution has been appearing on our blog with ever-increasing frequency. The changes can be quite imperceptible or can catch your attention right away as in a 2.4 update. The service’s own Dashboard appeared in its interface, besides the users will get access to a holiday skin. But first things first.

Now a handy Dashboard is implemented on the home page that previously showed the main stages of work with orders. The tool presents the system’s useful information in the form of statistics. The interface comprises several sections: “Orders”, “Routes”, “Reports”, “Chat”. Clicking on each section you will be quickly redirected to the corresponding Logistics module. Let’s elaborate on each section.

1.  In the “Orders” section you will see the current month calendar where the dates with undistributed orders are highlighted. In the footer, there is the statistics on:

• one-time orders;
• permanent orders.

2.  The “Routes” section shows the number of active, planned and completed routes as well as the number of units, orders, and estimated mileage.
3.  In the “Reports” section you can see the statistics on the selected report for the previous day. Besides, with just one click you can go to Logistics and quickly build this report for the similar time interval.

4. The “Chat” section helps to get a quick access to dialogues with unread messages from the drivers. Thus, you will never lose important information especially if it is a bunch of congratulations from your employees.

And a temporary fun from our developers: Logistics logo and favicon courier put on Santa’s hat to deliver packages with holiday gifts. The process hasn’t changed but each delivered package seems to bring more joy and pleasure in this time of the year, doesn’t it?
