Gurtam team, showcasing new Wialon products during CeBIT 2014, finally returned home, and shared their impressions. Gurtam audience is well aware of the fact that this expo is a really important and significant IT event worth visiting. Therefore, it would be better just to introduce CeBIT 2014 as viewed by our colleagues.
This year our German trip started with a one-day Gurtam conference Telematics 2014. Hannover, and the next day already Gurtam, together with our partners, went straight to CeBIT expo.
Gurtam booth was surrounded by companies, showcasing telematics innovations. Next to Gurtam you could see Arvento, BCE, Omnicomm, Microset, Teltonika, Atrack, Meitrack, Technoton, Ruptela, and etc. Fundamental difference for CeBIT 2014, according to our colleagues, can be clearly seen through less number of «window shoppers», and increased number of professionals, who came to the expo well-prepared with particular purposes to find new solutions and get useful business contacts.
Denis Grebennikov, Head of Gurtam sales department, highlights: «In general, CeBIT is and will remain the significant international playground for business development, evaluating new market trends, searching for prospective partners and advantageous business contacts. This year was no exception, and in the near future we'll start working on new projects» .
«For me, — mentions Aksana Astapovich, Gurtam regional manager for EU&SACA, — as a manager of this region, CeBIT is a very convenient place to meet our partners. It's a great opportunity to discuss further cooperation strategies and business development prospects in person, take a deeper look into current situation and comprehend the problems, faced by our partners».
Therefore, CeBIT, as a playground, gathering numerous Gurtam partners annually, as well as our partner conference, gradually help us to build well-consolidated western community of Wialon users, and to elaborate mutually beneficial development policy together.
However, besides the active work during the expo there are minutes of rest, which provide the exhibitors with the space for imagination and good opportunity for self-expression. Head of Gurtam marketing department Katsiaryna Malitskaya shares her view: «In order to visit all CeBIT stands and pavilions one day is definitely not enough, that's why I think I didn't manage to see everything. But this time was enough for me to understand — if you really want, you can find anything you like there, according to your taste. You could watch the pink umbrella big bang from Deutsche Telekom, pole dancing from Tobit robots (I must admit that «girls» looked impressive), drive Volkswagen electrocars, try on Samsung hats, or eat SAP corporate apple. I was really keen to know, what marketing tricks were prepared by the participants, in order to provoke interest, even if the products they produce can be hardly called entertaining» .
