Exhibition season starts in spring, and Gurtam team is ready to meet the challenge. This year, we expand the geography of our events, and in April we will be glad to meet you in Hong Kong at Global Sources Consumer Electronics Show, one of the biggest electronics exhibitions in Asia.

Global Sources Electronics is the biggest industry trade show in the world dedicated to electronics. The event acquired such proportions that the organizers had to hold it in two stages: Consumer Electronics and Mobile Electronics having several thousands of exhibitors each. We are interested in the first phase of the show. A great variety of electronics such as consumer electronics, gaming components, smart living products, auto and navigation equipment will be showcased here.

This time, the event planners promise no less than 3,800 participants: LG, Huawei, and Microsoft are among them. Not impressed? Then what would you say about 60,000 visitors from 150 countries? If you haven’t found here what you were looking for, it doesn’t exist at all.

Focusing on Wialon

Despite the fact that the exhibition is all about electronics we don’t focus on hardware only. Our focal point is software, and we are sending the best experts to introduce it in Hong Kong. Olga Filonchuk, International Sales Director, and Aliaksandr Kuushynau, Head of Wialon Division, will take the lead of Gurtam team. At the booth, they will present Wialon platform and our flagship solutions:

  • Fuel control module and the proprietary fuel consumption calculation algorithm;
  • Video monitoring solutions with devices by HowenSmartWitnessSerVision;
  • NimBus – the new solution for public transportation control. We’ll see what Gurtam can offer Guangzhou Bus Rapid Transit that handles approximately 1,000,000 passenger trips daily;
  • Logistics – the order management solution for delivery services. In the country with $37 billion worth food delivery market only, our solution will surely find its place.

It goes without saying that Gurtam can’t leave out the mobile applications for GPS monitoring. Smartphones and tablets are at every turn in China so Wialon mobile app and WiaTag will be put to a good use.

Expanding the list of supported devices

While integrators hunt for the best offers, we will meet the manufacturers whose devices are already Wialon-integrated and will explore new promising equipment. But the exhibition isn’t the only site for that. We plan to visit Shenzhen manufacturing enterprises where half of all the world’s electronics is made. Gurtam hardware partners already await us at their plants. We will see with our own eyes how telematics devices are created, from the first microcircuit till the card is placed in the device body. Hope that after the Chinese event we will address to local manufacturers more often, and the list of supported devices will expand even faster.

Our partners from around the world have already been to Hong Kong and not once. They share the opinion that here it’s likely possible to find the equipment with the best quality-price combination. As a result, European integrators are already interested in Chinese products and try to reduce the monitoring services cost at the equipment expense. Very soon we'll find out whether this experience is useful. Meanwhile, we are getting ready for the event and are really excited about it.

If you are sure that your business needs the latest telematics solutions, we are waiting for you at booth #1G43 in Hall 1 of AsiaWorld-Expo on April, 11-14. The trade show center is located at Cheong Wing Road, Chek Lap Kok, Hong Kong.

In our exhibition calendar, you will find more events where to meet Gurtam experts this year.
