Wialon Data Center


GPS tracking software center

Wialon Data Center as a technical basis of our company is specially designed for effective functioning of Wialon GPS tracking and telematics services. The hardware is located in an environment friendly Data Center SIG Telehousing in the North of the Netherlands and is connected to the Internet via several uplinks with bit rates from 2 Mb/sec to 3.8 Tb/sec each. The Internet connection is provided by the following independent vendors: Abovenet, Interoute, Globalaxs, Essent, and European points of traffic exchange NL-IX, GN-IX, FR-IX. In order to send and receive SMS messages, our servers are connected to GSM network via GSM modems and virtual SMPP modems.

Statistics

Gurtam specialists are constantly testing new components and modules of Wialon GPS tracking system. The demo version of Wialon and free trials are installed in Wialon Data Center for testing purposes of our customers. Wialon Hosting installation (for companies who provide GPS tracking service), and installation of Wialon Corporate (for companies who use Wialon to control their fleet) are available in Wialon Data Center as well.

Structure

Wialon Data Center consists of a number of enterprise servers based on multicore Intel Xeon processors. These servers form a local network with data bit rates of 1GBit/sec. All application servers are selected for their particular services and work on a redundant N+1 scheme. That means that the shutdown or malfunction of one of them will not affect the efficiency of the rest. Separate servers are responsible for the backup system and all incoming and outgoing traffic. Thus, we ensure the highest level of data storage security as well as the safety of all the components.
