Wialon Pro Version History

Gurtam started developing its first version of GPS vehicle tracking system Wialon in 2006. Since then, the company has been working to guarantee the reliability and efficiency of the system, to improve the functionality of the existing modules, and to design the new ones. Several Wialon system generations have been developed and released. Each of them was met with high recognition from both the end users and the integrators of GPS tracking systems. Before the end of 2007, Wialon B2 was the main product developed by Gurtam, but since 2008 the company started selling Wialon B3, which in the middle of 2009 was divided into two products: a server version of Wialon Pro and Wialon Hosting SaaS-solution.

Wialon Pro 1106 version ends the era of the third generation of the GPS tracking system, which lasted almost four years. In 2012 the company plans to release a server platform of a new generation implementing the functional capacity which could not be technically realized before. As well as a previous platform, this system would go under the name of Wialon Pro.
